Cost of college went up for all students at Hanover College

Tuition and fees rose 3.1 percent for 2018-19 at Hanover College, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Indiana students paid $37,670 to attend the four-year private not-for-profit institution this year – $1,150 more than the $36,520 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 100 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 342 students received grants or scholarships totaling $9.6 million and 216 students took out student loans totaling more than $1.5 million.

Including all undergraduates (1,104), 1,088 students used grants or scholarships totaling $30.5 million, and 663 students took out $4.3 million in federal student loans.
