City of Aurora recently issued the following announcement.

Applications Due: April 29th, 2:00 PM
The 2022 Aurora Façade Improvement Matching Grant (FIMG) Program is now open and the City is accepting applications. This program is intended to incentive rehabilitation of significant buildings in the City of Aurora and improve the overall appearance of the City. This can pay for things such as repainting or refinishing exterior siding, repairing windows, roofs and the like. Projects will be scored on the level of need for the project and the impacts it will have on the community.
The city will match up to 50% of the project expenses up to $10,000. We anticipate funding around 10 projects this year. All applications must be submitted by Friday, April 29th at 2:00 PM, awards will be announced at the Monday, May 9th Council Meeting.
The property must be within the City limits of Aurora, see corporate boundaries in image below. The other way to be know if your property is eligible is to review the last three digits of the parcel identification number (which can be found on your tax bill). Properties in the City of Aurora end in 003.
