In the Kitchen with Marcia: Join Purdue Extension of Dearborn County Educator Marcia Parcell, as she hosts and teaches a variety of cooking classes. Bookies Book Club: Are you 18-30? Are you looking to read and discuss books with people your age? Do you love sweets? Then the “Bookies” New Adult Book Club is for you! D&D at the Library: Calling all adventurers! Join us in the café area on Tuesday evenings, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., to play 5th Edition Dungeons and Dragons. We offer a friendly, low-pressure environment for beginning players and veterans alike. We provide snacks and character sheets. Bring your own dice or borrow ours. Kaffeeklatsch Book Club: Love to read and discuss books, but might not be able to make it every month? Give the Lawrenceburg Public Library District’s Kaffeeklatsch Book Club a try! If you like the book for the month, register to borrow a copy of the book and get ready to discuss. Group meets at Funny Farm Coffee Co., Lawrenceburg, where the library district will provide cookies, but it will be up to you if you want to buy a drink. Teen Photovoice: Teens! Come to the Lawrenceburg Public Library to join Lee, Lawrenceburg Public Library District Teen Services Specialist, Amy Rose from CASA, and Jeff Walker from the Purdue Extension on an adventure through wellness in your neighborhood! You will take pictures of your environment and caption them to show how they impact your community! This is a two-day program-day one to take the photos and walk around downtown and day two to see your work and decide how to share!
