ALL IN: ALL IN is designed to encourage adults with intellectual/developmental difficulties and their families and caregivers to feel comfortable navigating the library and communicating with staff. Enjoy a snack, craft, and get to know and explore the library. 10 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 1, North Dearborn Branch. No registration needed. Adults. Free.

Library Director Meet and Greet: Meet Lawrenceburg Public Library District Director Jake Moore. No reservation needed. Just stop by between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m.! Light refreshments will be served. 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 1, at the Lawrenceburg Main Library. No registration needed. Everyone welcome. Free.

Winter Wonderland: Winter Wonderland returns this holiday season! In partnership with Dearborn Highlands Arts Council, the Lawrenceburg Public Library District will present the Madcap Puppets production of A Christmas Carol at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 3, at Lawrenceburg Public Library, and at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 10, at North Dearborn Branch Library. No registration is needed, but seating is limited! But wait. There is more! Santa and his reindeers will visit from noon to 2 p.m. Dec. 3 in Lawrenceburg and Dec. 10 at North Dearborn. Take and Make holiday crafts will be available at both locations while supplies last. As a special present, The Conductors of Southeastern Indiana Model Train Association will host a free moving model train display all day Dec. 3 at Lawrenceburg only. Everyone welcome Free.

Genealogy Roundtable: December topic is Clues in Old Photos. From the type of image to the fashion, discuss ways to figure out when a photo was taken and who the subject might be, focusing primarily on the 1800s. In January, the focus will be on 1900-1950. 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 3, at the Lawrenceburg Main Library. No registration needed. Teens and adults. Free.

Bookies Book Club: Are you 18-30? Are you looking to read and discuss books with people your age? Do you love sweets? Then the “Bookies” New Adult Book Club is for you! Join Megan and Marisa on the first Tuesday of each month to read new, popular releases, discuss what you read, and eat sweets. The group will discuss November 9 by author Colleen Hoover. If you like the book for the month, register to borrow a copy of the book and get ready to discuss. Group meets at Funny Farm Coffee Co., Lawrenceburg, where the library district will provide cookies, but it will be up to you if you want to buy a drink. Movie and a Snack: Come to the library for a snack & a movie! The movie this month is Ernest Saves Christmas. Snacks and a drink on us. Also pick up a free to-go dinner starting at 5:15 p.m. (before the movie) from Hamline Chapel’s weekly High Hope Café, 102 High St., Lawrenceburg, and bring it to the library. Barks and Books: Sit. Stay. Read! Dogs make great listeners and reading out loud to them can improve reading comprehension and confidence. Grab a book and take a paws to read out loud to a trained therapy dog!
