Bezold named the HCAC Women's Basketball Athlete of the Week
Sophomore Grace Bezold (Covington, Ky.) was named the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Athlete of the Week announced Monday afternoon by the league office.
The sophomore led the Panthers to a 2-0 week as they defeated Anderson and Bluffton. She averaged 18.0 points per game while pulling in 9.5 rebounds per contest. Bezold finished the week shooting an impressive 52.0 percent from the floor.
In the contest with Anderson, Bezold charted a double-double netting 18 points with 11 rebounds. She followed it up with a game-high 18 points and eight rebounds at Bluffton.
Hanover returns to action on Saturday, Dec. 10 when they welcome Defiance to Collier Arena. Game time is set for 2:00 PM.
