Chris Hill, a 1993 graduate of Indiana University, recently marked 30 years at Richmond, Ind. HVAC company, Dick Hill & Son, which itself marked its 70th year in business.
The company was founded in 1953 by Dick Hill, who was Chris’s grandfather. Ron Hill, Chris' father, started the HVAC side of the company in the early 1970s, and Chris began working for the company full time in 1993. Chris took over the company company at age 27 due to Ron's health issues, and Chris purchased the company in 2015.
A 1992 graduate of Richmond High School, Chris attended Indiana University before joining the company full-time. He returned to college in 2006 and graduated with a bachelor of business administration from Indiana University-East in 2013.
In the company’s 70th year, Dick Hill and Son was acquired by Ace Hardware this September.

Located at 693 Indiana Ave in Richmond, Dick Hill and Son provides heating and cooling services to residents and businesses in Eastern Indiana. As of publication time, company has 267 Google reviews with an almost-perfect rating of 4.9 out of 5 stars.
