2021 has 3.7% of Jefferson County residents unemployed

Jefferson County recorded an unemployment rate of 3.7% among residents aged 16 and 65 years old in 2021. That’s 560 people out of the 33,000 living in Jefferson County at the time, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau.

The unemployment rate in Jefferson County has increased compared to the 3.4% registered in 2020.

The percentage of people unemployed in Jefferson County was less than the statewide unemployment rate of 4.7%.

Everyone who had a job at the time belonged to the civilian labor force.
