On Sunday, Feb. 9, former Lawrenceburg High School standout Brooklynn Couch’s current college team, the Valparaiso Beacons, won 7-2 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Detroit Mercy Titans.

The game took place at The Dome at Parkway Bank Sports Complex. This was their first matchup against the Titans this season.

The Beacons’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 21 at 3 p.m. at PC Softball Complex against Monmouth Hawks.
